We stayed in the hotel during our kindergartener Spring break trip to Washington DC. The location is 30 min drive from the Washington DC downtown and National parks, which we found pretty convenient for the value. The room was well equipped, big enough with a king bed, sofa and armchair. The bathroom was clean. We had a chance to use a swimming pool, it was warm inside, the water was not cold and floors were heated in the pool area. Overall the facility of the hotel is great and well maintained. The area around the hotel is also nice. We found Whole foods in 5 min drive and also tried a breakfast at Iron roaster cafe located in the lobby of the hotel (not bad, but I wish for a more healthy option for breakfast, especially for kids). Self-parking rate is 16$ per day. Will come again.

First and foremost - this hotel has premium mattresses, bedding, and pillows. I stayed at a Four Seasons on this same trip and I'd say that The Hotel's beds are 95% as good (which is quite exceptional). The rooms are quiet and comfortable. I slept amazingly every night here. Additionally, I love all of the open space inside the lobby - plenty of places to hang out, work for a bit, whatever you need. Lastly - the location is great if you're doing anything around UMD, or the DC area more broadly.

Executive queen suite felt big, modern and comfortable. Great coffee in the room (Illy iperespresso!). Room was matched by the rest of the hotel, clearly catering to people visiting conferences of the university campus. Interesting for the kids to walk around an American campus, even if the students weren't there. On site grill restaurant had everything we needed. About 30-45 minutes from the National Mall, depending on traffic.

The room was fantastic - large, modern, and with floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the University parkland and buildings. The room was well equipped with electric blackout blinds, coffee maker, large TV, fridge, safe etc. Most importantly it was immaculate and exceptionally clean. The hotel has a range of quality eateries and bars to socialize and the staff were efficient and friendly.

The area was perfect for my purpose in Maryland. The hotel was very elegant clean and professionally run. The premises appeared to be secure and my wife and I love the fact that you have to have an activated room key card to use the elevator and enter the pool. The room was very clean and modern. The parking garage is also accessed by an electronic card for guests staying for more than a day.
